Accelerator AdMaCom starts in Berlin
Berlin offers perfect conditions for innovative startups. The city boasts many talents, a very good infrastructure and a growing research sector. Perfect conditions for smart materials, too, which form the basis for the expanding wearable tech industry. Berlin as a hub for wearables is developing rapidly and positioning itself on the global market.
In order to promote this development, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials set up the accelerator programme AdMaCom. Corporate teams, startups, researchers and international mentors will be working together closely over the course of six weeks and benefit from trainings, as well as business and technology support in order to develop innovative products and solutions.
The kick-off event will be taking place on 28 August in Berlin where 13 selected startups will present their technologies and applications as well as the challenges they had to overcome during development.

- Alkimat
- sMarterials
- Aerocells
- Volasystems
- Etax
- LoMaRe
The accelerator programme is supported by companies such as Henkel, Ledvance and Osram.
