With the increasing sales figures for smart watches, AR glasses and fitness trackers, the acceptance of wearables among users is increasing. Sensors, displays and radio modules are now not only extremely powerful, but also cost-effective and very small (sensor implants). The wearables market is one of the fastest growing IoT segments. While only $48 billion was generated in 2022, the market potential for smart wearables is expected to be around $281 billion worldwide in 2032.
