Awarding of the presentation slots at Berlin Fashion Week

The winners of this year’s slots are: 

• Malaika Raiss / fashion show
• Dawid Tomaszewski / fashion show
• Philomena Zanetti / studio presentation
• Sammler Berlin / studio presentation 

Just as is the case every year, the slots will be split between two up-and-coming designers and two established fashion labels. We would like to congratulate the designers from Berlin on their success. It was their expressive collections and exceptional design quality that helped them to secure the slots.  

The slots provide Berlin-based labels with an opportunity to present their collections to an international audience at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (MBFW), acquire new purchasers and as a result generate a great deal of media attention. Since 2007, the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research / Projekt Zukunft have supported around 100 fashion shows at Berlin Fashion Week.
