The Far East at hand in Berlin

Organised by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and the Asia-Pacific Forum Berlin, the Asia-Pacific Week (APW) in Berlin from 13th to 19th May 2019 is dedicated to the German-Asian exchange of interests.

Main focus of the event, which is happening for the 14th time since 1997, is the topic of innovation and further development of collaboration of start-ups with their ecosystems, for example on the Philippines, in India, China, Singapore or Indonesia.

Current trends in innovation such as Open Innovation, Cross Innovation or Social Innovation as well as topics like Smart Cities, energy and mobility, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain are discussed at various conferences, seminars, delegation tours and workshops.
