Female Future Force Day 2018

„The day, which will change your life!“ – with this statement, Edition F announces the first Female Future Day, which will take place on the 25 August 2018 at Funkhaus Berlin. The appeal points towards strong career-oriented women, whom Edition F, founded by Susann Hoffmann and Nora-Vanessa Wohlert in 2014, offer a stage.  

Since four years, around 25 women and men work fort he digital business companion for women – Edition F. In the magazine they publish helpful tips and inspiring articles, portraits and vacancies, offer online seminars, plus a digital mentoring program called Female Future Force.

Now it’s taking a step further: Edition F invites you to the Female Future Force Day 2018. The program is diverse and opens up new horizons. Edition F sets the focal point on personality development, effective co-working of men and women, the arrangement of the family and a career, founding terms and self-optimization.

The program isn’t just diverse but also manned with top-class speakers, who inform and inspire at the same time – women and men, who made a career and headlines, provide authentic insights in to challenges and opportunities, which they had to face and how they used turned them into chance.

Panels, Workshops and Keynote speeches – not exclusively for women
Some speakers are for example Anita Tillman, founder of Berlin Fashion Week leading trade fair Premium Exhibition, designer Marina Hoermanseder and Karoline von Stieglitz, founder of IVY&OAK, Cloudy Zarocki, editor in chief Refinery29 and  blogger Vreni Frost, and Kerstin Wenig, editor in chief at InStyle who will speak about the topic, which doesn’t just affect women: „Can fashion change the world?“

Anna Alex, founder of the successful personal shipping service Outfittery, will discuss the topics “ Modern parenting – how to master work and daily life even with children” with Minna Laatikainen-Krimmel, Country Manager at Bugaboo, and blogger and photographer  Katja Hentschel during a panel discussion. Verena Pauseder, founder of the kid’s app Fox&Sheep, who we’ve already interviewed in 2016, talking about her company, will discuss with her husband Philipp Pauseder in the second panel “2 Founders, 4 Children – an still successful” how to combine family and a career. Moderator Hadnet Tesfai talks to Jessica Weiss, founder of Journelles about the day, that changed her life.  Chanyu Xu, founder of ONO Labs, provides insights during the short interview about “How do I start my own company”?

„We’re still in need of more female founders“
The Female Future Force Day shows once more, how important the conversation and support of and with female founders is, which Ramona Pop, Senator for Economics, Energy and Enterprises, highlights during her interview with Edition F: „Only once we have as many female role models, as we have male ones, we’ve gotten a step closer towards gender equality. My goal is: every woman who wants to start her own business, should be allowed to do so and shouldn’t have to face any difficulties a man wouldn’t have to face as well in a similar situation.“

Ramona Pop emphasizes how specific goals are going to be achieved: “Men and women both need to be equally parts of the economic dynamic and influence it as such. The goal is to see more qualifies, engaged and brave women in responsible positions  – may it be as a manager, board member, or entrepreneur. Luckily, there’s many successful role models, especially in Berlin – nowadays, even in the startup and tech area.”
