The dates for Berlin Fashion Week in January and July 2017 have been set!
Twice a year, Berlin Fashion Week sets the scene for more than ten trade fairs and fashion show platforms. The week-long programme includes shows presenting designs in the areas of women’s wear, men’s wear, street wear, skater wear, avantgarde, eco fashion and accessories.
On invitation by the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research the larger trade fairs and platforms, including fashion trade fairs Panorama, Premium Group, Show & Order, Green Showroom, Ethical Fashion Show, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin as well as Berliner Modesalon, have agreed on dates and timelines for the trade fairs taking place during Berlin Fashion Week 2017. By agreeing on the dates early, the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research provides planning security for all those involved, including purchasers and journalists.
All the dates at a glance:
Berlin Fashion Week: 17 - 20 January 2017/ trade fair period: 17 - 19 January 2017
Berlin Fashion Week: 4 - 7 July 2017/ trade fair period: 4 - 6 July 2017
Cornelia Yzer, Senator for Economics, Technology and Research: “The organisers joining together and setting dates are important signals for the industry. By announcing the dates early we provide planning security for all those involved, i.e. exhibitors, media representatives and purchasers.”
Next year, too, platforms and designers will be receiving support from the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research / Projekt Zukunft.
