In 2014, there were approximately 56 million internet users. Of these a whopping 36 million went online using a mobile device only! This leads to the conclusion that Conventional digital offers and business models for desktop applications are becoming increasingly irrelevant and digital sources of revenue in the stationary web that have been built up tediously are in danger of drying up at mind-numbing speed.

At the Digital Media Conference, taking place on 11 February in Hamburg, the digital decision-makers will face up to exactly this challenge and discuss possible solutions to survive the digital change.

Speakers at the #DMC16 include Patrick Wölke and Oliver von Wersch as well as Stefan Betzold, Managing Director at Digital BILD GmbH & Co. KG, Oliver Bohl, Director Digital Business Development at PAYBACK GmbH, Dr. Carsten Brosda, Representative for the Media of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Thorben Fasching, Vice-President of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft BVDW e.V. (German Federal Association for the Digital Economy), Jan Honsel, Country Manager for the 'DACH' region at Pinterest Deutschland GmbH, Vernon von Klitzing, COO at Playboy Deutschland GmbH, Thomas Port, Managing Director at Digital SevenOne Media, Christian Röpke Managing Director at ZEIT Online GmbH, Frederike Voss, CEO at orbyd GmbH, Jochen Wegner, Chief Editor at ZEIT Online GmbH, and Christoph Baumeister, Management Consultant at Cassini Consulting.
