Once again, it is "game on" at the International Games Week Berlin

The event provides a platform for gamers, fans, developers, investors, representatives from the worlds of politics, business and media, and experts to come together in one place. In 2015, more than 12.000 visitors attended Games Week and similar attendance rates are expected for this year's event. The six-day trade show combines a variety of events including

  • the Opening Summit launch event,

  • the Quo Vadis conference for developers,

  • independent video games festival A MAZE.,

  • Gamefest at the Computerspielemuseum,

  • Game <3 Cinema Festival,

  • Womenize! Tech, Digital Business and Media,

  • Matchmaking Dinner,

  • Researching Games Barcamp

  • Education Summit,

  • Making Games Talents,

  • and 15 Years GAMES ACADEMY Party

As an umbrella brand, International Games Week Berlin succeeds the DGT – Deutsche Gamestage (German Game Days), which were initially launched by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg in 2007. Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg continues to support a range of individual events taking place during Games Week.

Independent festival A MAZE. will once again be part of this year's event. A MAZE. is an international festival for alternative games and independent games culture first launched in 2008. Featured on the agenda are exhibitions, conferences, workshops, game jams, artists and A MAZE. Magazine.
