Around 250 international technology experts will be meeting at the Kosmos events venue to talk about the city of the future. Typical issues will be: congestion-free inner cities, floating plant breeding farms or 3D glasses for the tourism industry. "With our series of conferences we intend to link the global futurist elite to Berlin-based innovators and local enterprises as well as the startup scene in Berlin, and encourage co-operations and joint projects," says Cornelia Yzer, Senator for Economics, Technology and Research in Berlin.

After all, many innovative digital solutions for modern city design were developed in Berlin or are implemented there. Through active exchange at the conference Berlin stakeholders will be able to gain insight into which approaches are promoted by other global cities and innovators with regard to smart cities and how these approaches are implemented. In addition, they will be given the opportunity to discuss their ideas and concepts with international experts.
