Berlin Design in good form

In Berlin, products, furniture and collections are developed and trends promoted. Design means much more than just a product that has been designed to be functional. The digital transformation, necessary optimisation of processes, resource efficiency and focussing on users strengthen the application of ‘Design Thinking’ methods within companies of all sections of industry. In the end, the design industry is strongly dependent on the ability to be innovative.

Networks such as the ‘Internationale Design Zentrum Berlinorganises presentations and workshops locally and abroad. A creative community of designers, agencies and sales platforms has developed in Berlin.

Nearly every month new shops and flagship stores of internationally renowned enterprises open their doors. Four art academies and numerous private institutions in Berlin offer a wide range of design-oriented study subjects, where more than 3000 students have enrolled. Berlin is a location for young design, a trendsetter that has taken on the challenge to follow the example of established design metropolises worldwide.
