Berlin Fashion Week: Green trade fair duo continues to grow

“Berlin is Fashion”

Berlin Fashion Week is the umbrella event of the fashion week in Berlin. It is where various trade fairs and fashion show platforms come together. According to the motto “Berlin is fashion” a new location has been chosen for “Salonshow” and “Ethical Fashion on Stage” which is only three minutes away from Postbahnhof on foot. The area right next to the Spree river is an appropriate location to present the highlights from the new collections that Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin have to offer. 

New location for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has moved into former department store Jandorf. With its new venue, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week offers an inspirational platform

and creative space for the visual design of the show. Catherine Bennett, Senior Vice President, IMG Fashion Events & Properties on the decision: “Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will be the first one-week fashion event in this location where designers will be offered a range of new opportunities to realise their creative visions.”

Berliner Mode Salon

Berliner Mode Salon will once again open its doors in the Kronprinzenpalais to guests and selected designers. The designer portfolio includes designers such as HIEN

LE, WILLIAM FAN, RÉNE STORCK and many more. Highlights will be the group exhibition as well as the Vogue Salon where more than 40 outstanding fashion labels from Germany show their most recent collections.

#FASHIONTECH Berlin is a platform for innovative ideas and business models that influence the world of fashion in terms of design, production, distribution, marketing and sales. The next event will be taking place during Berlin Fashion Week on 18 January 2017 in Kühlhaus Berlin in Kreuzberg. 

In this season, too, designers and talents at the Berlin Fashion Week will be supported by the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research / Projekt Zukunft.
