Event: Artificial intelligence
Germany is immersing deeply in the topic of artificial intelligence. In July 2018, the government described the first steps on how Germany shall become the world’s leading location for artificial intelligence. Already today, 50 percent of all companies dealing with artificial intelligence in Germany are based in Berlin. On 6th September, an expert panel will discuss with the audience on how much artificial intelligence Berlin actually has and what the prospects and potentials are for the location.
This year’s event, initiated by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and implemented by “log in. berlin”, will gather representatives from business, science and administration to discuss the potentials of artificial intelligence companies and the Berlin location. The speakers will share their experiences in the use of AI, with all participants being able to actively take part in the discussion.
Study on artificial intelligence in Berlin and Brandenburg
Technology Foundation Berlin will present their recently published study on “Artificial Intelligence in Berlin and Brandenburg” to the public. Nicolas Zimmer, chairman of Technology Foundation Berlin, will provide an insight into the development at the location, into the number of companies, turnover and jobs in the field of artificial intelligence.
During the subsequent networking round, the guests will be given the opportunity to exchange ideas with the experts, the creators of “log in. berlin” and many other stakeholders from the Berlin digital economy.
