Securing skilled IT professionals: Projekt Zukunft supports Women in Tech

Companies that were (co-)founded by women or specifically encourage the recruitment and promotion of mixed teams are regarded as more innovative, more successful and more economically sustainable. In the IT industry the empowerment of women is now considered an essential building block to secure skilled professionals.

Projekt Zukunft has initiated a Round Table for the end of November 2015, bringing the main Berlin initiatives for women in tech and female entrepreneurship together at one table. It serves to sound out potential for action and synergies for joint cooperation. In addition, a stocktaking exercise is currently under development with Berlin-based initiatives, networks and events. In spring 2015, Projekt Zukunft already supported the action day "Womenize!" for the career formation and recruitment of women in tech, media and digital industries.
