The founders of Juniqe, Sebastian Hasebrink, Lea Lange and Marc Pohl wanted to end the lack of affordable art in living rooms Europe and beautify empty walls which is why they founded Junique – a digital platform for young talented artists from all over the world. In a converted loft in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Juniqe’s young international team of 65 is growing steadily – in its second year after foundation, i.e. 2015, the company already generated an eight-digit turnover that will increase threefold in 2016. 28-year-old CEO and founder Lea Lange now ranks among the most successful women in the German startup scene.

Juniqe offers affordable art for everyone. For this purpose, the company is oriented towards current fashion and interior trends and captures the spirit of modern times. The designs of international artists are presented on wall pictures, fashion, home textiles and other products: Customers can choose between numerous images on wall pictures, posters, mobile phone covers, shirts, sweaters and bags. And the startup already has plans for the future: deciding on certain artworks often poses a challenge to customers. Currently, Juniqe is developing a tool that enables the customer to arrange their own picture gallery online via drag and drop on their own living room wall and thus see the result already on the screen.
